The unity among the brethren reflects the heart of the Father, and he says that where there is unity, the anointing of his presence saturates his blessing and commands to manifest himself in the midst of it (see Psalm 133)! Some people think that as long as you only pray to more than one person in a room, you have consent. But this is not a real agreement. If you want to come to a true biblical agreement with someone or even a group of people, all parties must stand on the Word of the living God.

Matthew 18:19 „Again, I say unto you, if two of you on earth agree on something they ask, it will be done for them by heavenly Father.“ My own ministry has been powerfully enriched because I am part of a „symphony orchestra“ of ministers in the city of Moscow. The united front of this group has achieved an effect that could never have been greater if each of us had tried to achieve the same goals individually. Over the years, we have spoken to each other in a way that has positively changed our attitudes, teachings, and practices. Do we still agree on the intricacies of teaching? No! But we are God`s family, and we act that way. After all, we don`t always agree with our natural family members either – but we are all still a family bound by blood and birth. The same goes for God`s family. We were all bought by the blood of Jesus and born of the Spirit of God. As Paul said, „There is one body and one spirit,“ one God and Father of all. But grace is given to each of us according to the measure of Christ`s gift (Ephesians 4:4-7). Jesus said that if two on earth agreed, He would be in the middle of that agreement to see it come true.
You are on Earth, so you qualify. If you agree with another believer to touch something that is consistent with God`s Word, He is in your midst to perform it. With guaranteed results like these, why don`t we use this spiritual tool more often? Keep your thoughts at your word. Once the agreement is finalized, continue to serve your faith and nurture your faith on the basis of that agreement. The scriptures on which you were written—the ones that guarantee the answer—should be the focus of your attention. Satan will come to play with your mind to make you doubt what you have agreed on, but don`t give in! This is not the time for „flaky“ Christian friends, you need to know 100% that they agree with you or that it does not work. Find a friend, your husband, your children. someone who is saved.
You must be a born-again believer in Christ. Then observe how God moves. You and your husband or wife may one day jump and agree that you will have a hundred oil wells by midnight, but you will never see this prayer of agreement come true because it is not based on the Word of God.
So, if they have a desire as a family, go to the word first. Find the promise that covers the particular situation for which you are praying. Then write it down and meditate on it until, as Psalm 112:7 (KJV) says, your „heart is fixed and trusts in the Lord.“ Bring your whole family to this promise so that your agreement is based on a solid foundation. Believers who agree in the Holy Spirit are a powerful and unstoppable force. This is why Satan fights Christian families. Therefore, he does not want men and women to be united in marriage. He wants us to fight and get angry all the time because He knows it will hinder our prayers (see 1 Peter 3:7).
